A great day was had on Tuesday last when some girls from 4th, 5th and 6th classes represented St Mary’s in the FAI Schools Primary 5s in Stella Maris FC.
The sun was shining both on us and for us as we fielded two teams. Congratulations to both teams who represented themselves and St Mary’s excellently. We are so proud of you all! 😊
The competition was stiff and there were plenty of goals. Well done to the goal scorers! One team despite their valiant efforts were knocked out at the group stage. But our other team made it all the way to the final (no mean feat) but were unfortunately beaten.
Never mind girls, that’s the first time in 15 years that we have made a final and we think you are LEGENDS! You are all, each and everyone of you winners in our eyes! 🏆 Thank you to Ms Coyle, Ms Mc Auley and the SNAs who accompanied the girls on this memorable day out.
